Abstract

In the technical solution of the present application, a network device determines, according to a specified spatial domain adaptation scenario type, at least one sub-configuration satisfying a preset condition, and a terminal device receives the at least one sub-configuration that is for the specified spatial domain adaptation scenario type and satisfying the preset condition, to determine or generate a channel state information report based on the sub-configuration. Through the technical solution of the present application, the network device can determine configuration elements of each sub-configuration corresponding to different spatial domain adaptation modes based on the spatial domain adaptation scenario type, and can also achieve valid configurations of the determined configuration elements of each sub-configuration, facilitating the terminal device to perform CSI measurement and reporting based on each sub-configuration corresponding to different spatial domain adaptation modes.
