Abstract

There is provided a user equipment comprising at least one processor, and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the user equipment to perform: obtaining a configuration related to reference signals, wherein the configuration indicates a first resource element, RE, pattern for a first type of RS for at least one first antenna port, wherein the configuration for the first RE pattern for the first type of RS for the at least one first antenna port indicates: i) a first number of REs for each antenna port per resource block, RB, ii) a first density level between RBs, and iii) a first number of symbols per slot. The user equipment is further caused to perform: based on the configuration, transmitting, to a network entity, a first physical uplink shared channel, PUSCH, wherein the at least one first antenna port for the first type of RS is configured with the first RE pattern in the first PUSCH.
