Abstract

Method for enabling a client device (CD) to interact with an authentication server (AS) over a network, comprising steps performed by a singularization server (SS) of: - receiving (S3) an encrypted passphrase and a user identifier (UI) from a stateless proxy (SP); - determining (S4) a singularization value for said user identifier; - applying (55) a hash function to a combination of said encrypted passphrase and said singularization value, said encryption function being associated with an encryption scheme homomorphic with respect to said hash function, and transmitting (S6) the result and said user identifier (III) to said stateless proxy (SP).
