Abstract

This invention reduces a load on an edge device which is capable of collecting information and processing the information and which carries out an operation on the basis of the processed information, and reduces power consumption of the edge device. A system (100) includes: a first obtaining section (131) that obtains, from an edge device (4), a plurality of types of information collected by the edge device; a second obtaining section (132) that is capable of obtaining, from the edge device, request information for requesting execution of processing of specific information; a processing section (133) that processes the specific information among the plurality of types of information in a case where the second obtaining section obtains the request information; and a transmission control section (134) that transmits, in a case where the processing section processes the specific information, a result of the processing to the edge device.
