Abstract

An electronic device according to one embodiment comprises a memory, a communication module and a processor, wherein the memory can store instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to: be connected through the communication module; collect, at each specified interval, position data capable of tracking the trajectory of an object from a position tracking device attached to the object; change the center point of trajectory data, which includes position data collected at each specified interval; normalize the trajectory data by predicting missing data not collected at the specified intervals; generate, on the basis of the normalized trajectory data, supplementary data corresponding to the missing data; generate, as a trajectory image, the trajectory data including the supplementary data; and classify a category of the object on the basis of a feature extracted from the trajectory image.
