Abstract

The present application relates to a sidelink communication method and a device. The sidelink communication method comprises: a first communication device receiving first indication information sent by a second communication device, wherein the first indication information is used for activating or deactivating one or more first carriers, or the first indication information is used for indicating that one or more first carriers are dormant carriers or activated carriers, or the first indication information is used for indicating that one or more first carriers are activated or deactivated, and the first carriers are carriers for sidelink transmission. In the embodiments of the present application, a sidelink carrier is activated or deactivated on the basis of indication information or a timer, such that the number of carriers for sidelink transmission can be flexibly configured.
