Abstract

According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic feeder may comprise: a feeding container in which a discharge hole is formed; and an intake detection unit arranged below the discharge hole and configured to detect whether livestock has completed intake of feed, characterized in that the intake detection unit may comprise: a sensing shaft arranged below the discharge hole; a support frame connected to an end of the sensing shaft; and a rotation detection unit arranged in connection with the end of the sensing shaft and the support frame, the rotation detection unit being configured to detect rotation of the sensing shaft; and whether the livestock has completed feed intake may be detected based on whether the rotation of the sensing shaft is detected through the rotation detection unit.
