Abstract
An imaging system is used for capturing images of a subject during X-ray examination. It comprises a video camera system, separate to the X-ray image generation, for generating video camera images. The video camera images are processed to determine that a captured video camera image is synchronized with an X-ray exposure, based on saturation of one or more pixels of the captured video camera image. Timing information can then be generated associating the timing of the video camera images with the timing of the X-ray exposure.
