Abstract

It would be desirable to provide a sensor apparatus that facilitates precise mapping of signals to sensor nodes in an image coordinate system. There is therefore provided a sensor apparatus (110) comprising a plurality of sensor nodes. The sensor apparatus is configured to be used in conjunction with an imaging device (104). The imaging device is configured to acquire image data, wherein the image data uses an image coordinate system. The sensor apparatus comprises a plurality of fiducial markers each having a uniquely identifiable pattern which is detectable by the imaging device. The sensor apparatus is configured to hold the fiducial markers in a predetermined spatial relationship with the sensor nodes for mapping of signals obtained from the sensor nodes to locations of the sensor nodes in the image coordinate system.
