Abstract

The presently claimed invention relates to a hair cosmetic emulsion comprising an aqueous phase (AP) forming the continuous phase of the hair cosmetic emulsion, and an oil phase (OP) forming the disperse phase of the hair cosmetic emulsion, wherein the hair cosmetic emulsion comprises a botanical mixture (BM) comprising the following 9 botanical components: bamboo extract, cactus extract, jojoba oil, safflower oil, olive oil, babassu oil, sesame seed oil, rice bran oil, and evening primrose oil. The presently claimed invention, moreover, is drawn to a method for treating human hair with the hair cosmetic emulsion, and the use of the hair cosmetic emulsion for treating human hair, especially for nourishing and/or strengthening human hair, or protecting human hair against pollution.
