Abstract

The present invention relates to a screening apparatus having a chassis, a vibrating screen, and a catch box. Detachable mounts attach the vibrating screen to the chassis. A frame engages the chassis that supports the vibrating screen and catch box. The frame can be raised out of and lowered into the chassis. Hydraulic rams or equivalent means move the frame between a lowered transport/access position, a raised mounting position, and a working position. The vibrating screen is mounted to the chassis with the detachable mounts and can rest on the frame when the mounts are detached. The vibrating screen is mounted to the chassis when the frame is in the working position or in the access position. The vibrating screen rests on the frame when the mounts are detached and the frame is in the transport position or mounting position. The frame and catch box may be lowered independently from the vibrating screen.
