Abstract
Disclosed is a method for controlling a drying unit, the drying unit having a controllable fan and an air recirculation circuit. Given the usual parameters of the related printing unit, including the ink characteristics in print coverage, the method sets the fan speed, the air recirculation rate, and the temperature accordingly and achieves a lower power consumption than by using a standard parameter set.
