Abstract

An unmanned conveyance vehicle for conveying a cart includes a vehicle body; a detection section provided in the vehicle body and configured to detect the cart within a predetermined detection range from the vehicle body; an acquisition section configured to acquire multiple search positions including a search start position; and a control section configured to cause the vehicle body to move to the search start position and then execute a search process of searching for the cart by using the detection section, and configured to, when searching for the cart fails at the search start position, repeat causing the vehicle body to move to a next search position among the multiple search positions and executing the search process at the next search position, until searching for the cart succeeds.
