Abstract

The present invention relates to a polypropylene composition comprising a first propylene polymer (A) and a second propylene polymer (B), wherein the comonomer content of the second propylene polymer (B) is higher than the comonomer content of the first propylene polymer (A), the total weight content of the first propylene polymer (A) and the second propylene polymer (B) is at least 95.0 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the polypropylene composition, and the polypropylene composition has a total comonomer content of from 0.05 to 0.75 wt.-%, a melt flow rate MFR₂ of from 15.0 to 40.0 g/10 min, a xylene cold solubles (XCS) fraction of from 0.5 to 5.0 wt.-%, and a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight Mw/Mn of from 7.0 to 14.0,a process for producing said polypropylene composition,an article comprising said polypropylene composition, andthe use of said polypropylene composition for the production of fiber articles molded articles and/or for extrusion coating.
