Abstract

It is an object to provide a photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing containing a pigment and a pigment dispersant, wherein the photocurable ink composition exhibits high adhesion between its printed layer and a target base printing material and has high dispersion stability of the pigment in the ink composition and improved storage stability and to provide a photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing containing a pigment and a pigment dispersant, wherein the photocurable ink composition exhibits high adhesion between its printed layer and a target base printing material and high water resistance of the printed layer and has high dispersion stability of the pigment in the ink composition and improved storage stability. As a solution, provided is a photocurable ink composition for inkjet printing containing a pigment, a pigment dispersant, a photopolymerization initiator, and a photopolymerizable compound, wherein the photopolymerizable compound contains a hydrophilic monofunctional monomer and a phosphate (meth)acrylate, the phosphate (meth)acrylate is included in an amount of 0.1 to 4.3 mass% based on the entire ink composition, a mass ratio of the hydrophilic monofunctional monomer to the phosphate (meth)acrylate is 5 to 400, the pigment contains a titanium oxide pigment, and the pigment dispersant is included in an amount of 7 to 60 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the pigment.
