Abstract

The invention relates to a steam generator (SG) comprising an ironing plate (IP) comprising at least one steam vent. The ironing plate defines a planar ironing surface. The steam generator also comprises a steam input for receiving an input steam flow. The steam generator also comprises a first cyclonic chamber (CC1) comprising a steam inlet fluidly connected to the steam input. The first cyclonic chamber comprises a steam outlet (CC1_O) in fluid communication with the at least one steam vent. The first cyclonic chamber acts as a fluid separator. The first cyclonic chamber (CC1) comprises a first chimney (CH1) and a second chimney (CH2) both being arranged coaxially around the steam outlet (CC1_O) of the first cyclonic chamber.
