Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide a chopped carbon fiber capable of providing excellent composite properties, and relates to a chopped carbon fiber having a carbon fiber and a sizing agent attached to the surface of the carbon fiber, wherein the chopped carbon fiber exhibits 108 MPa to 140 MPa interfacial adhesion and wherein the amount of the attached sizing agent with respect to the carbon fiber is 0.7% by mass to 4.0% by mass.
