Abstract

The present invention provides a linear motion guide device provided with a side seal to provide a seal between a slider and a guide rail. The side seal has a retaining plate disposed on the slider side, a cover, and a sealing member disposed between the cover and the retaining plate along the length direction of the guide rail. The sealing member has a body sandwiched between the retaining plate and the cover and a lip section extending from the body toward the guide rail side. In a state in which the lip section is in abutment against the guide rail, a coupling section between the lip section and the body at a predetermined location in the width direction of the guide rail is apart from the guide rail farther than a coupling section between the lip section and the body at a location other than the predetermined location.
