Abstract

An odor filter system comprises: a case (12) comprising an air inlet (14) and an air outlet (16), the case (12) housing an air flow channel (18) for directing a filter operation air flow (F) from the air inlet (14) to the air outlet (16), an active carbon AC-filter (20) arranged in the air flow channel, and a catalytic module (22) arranged in the case (12) for regenerating the AC-filter (20), the catalytic module (22) is a photocatalytic module (23) comprising a photocatalytic filter (24) and a light source (26) for illuminating the photocatalytic filter (24), wherein the photocatalytic module (23) is arranged upstream from the AC-filter (20) in the air flow channel (18) and is preferably a PECO module.
