Abstract

A device (100; 200; 300) for Fourier Transform spectroscopy comprises: a first light propagating unit (120; 220; 320) receiving a first portion of a light signal and being configured to couple out fractions of the first portion by a sequence of first out-coupling elements (124; 224; 324) with a remaining fraction of the first portion continuing propagation along the first waveguide (122; 222; 322); a second light propagating unit (130; 230; 330) receiving a second portion of the light signal and being configured to couple out fractions of the second portion by a sequence of second out-coupling elements (132; 232; 332) with a remaining fraction of the second portion of the light signal continuing propagation along the second waveguide (132; 232; 332); wherein optical path lengths between sequential out-coupling elements are different in the second waveguide (132; 232; 332) and the first waveguide (122; 232; 332).
