Abstract

According to some embodiments, a battery diagnosis device includes a data management unit configured to collect an electric signal dataset of a welding process of forming an electrode tab on a plurality of sample battery cells and collect a fracture energy dataset of a fracture experiment for measuring a tensile strength while separating the electrode tab from the plurality of sample battery cells and a control unit configured to generate a fracture energy estimation model for estimating fracture energy values corresponding to electric signal values based on the electric signal dataset and the fracture energy dataset, and to estimate fracture energy values corresponding to electric signal values of a target battery cell using the fracture energy estimation model.
