Abstract

An apparatus for a sensor for monitoring the health of an electric power train (12) is disclosed herein. A camera (100) includes a camera housing (202) having an imaging end (208) with an end wall (210). A lens (220) positions at or within the end wall (210) and an air circuit (230) passing through the end wall (210) and positioned to direct a supply of air (A) along or at the lens (220). The camera (100) images the electric power train (12) or electric machine (56) to determine the health of the electric power train (12).
