Abstract

This application provides a schedule creation method and an electronic device. The method is applied to the electronic device, and includes: detecting a first operation of dragging a first control into a first area on a screen, where the first control corresponds to first data, and the first data includes first schedule information; displaying a first icon of a first application in response to the first operation; detecting a second operation of continuing to drag the first control into a second area in which the first icon is located and releasing the first control; and displaying a first window of the first application in response to the second operation, where the first window includes second schedule information, and the second schedule information corresponds to the first schedule information. The method may be used to resolve technical problems that an operation of an existing schedule creation method is relatively cumbersome, schedule creation efficiency is relatively low, and user experience is relatively poor.
