Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a display method and apparatus, and relate to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: displaying a first interface, where the first interface includes a first card set and a first button; in response to a first operation for the first button, displaying a second button on the first interface, and not displaying the first card set and the first button, where a display region occupied by the second button is smaller than a display region occupied by the first card set; and in response to a second operation for the second button, displaying the first card set and the first button on the first interface, and not displaying the second button. In this way, an electronic device can collapse the first card set into the second button based on the first operation. Because the display region occupied by the second button is smaller than the display region occupied by the first card set, an effect of reducing display region occupation on a home screen is implemented by collapsing the card set.
