Abstract

The present invention realizes energy saving by focusing on a frequency distribution indicating frequency of an energy consumption amount in an energy demand facility, and is an energy management system that manages consumed energy in the energy demand facility. The energy management system includes: a clustering unit that clusters a past energy consumption amount of the energy demand facility into a plurality of clusters based on a predetermined condition; a modeling unit that models a frequency distribution indicating frequency of the energy consumption amount in each cluster into at least one distribution having a positive skewness; and a schedule adjustment unit that adjusts an operation schedule of the energy demand facility so as to reduce dispersion of the modeled distribution.
