Abstract

Disclosed herein relates to a battery device including: a plurality of cell assemblies each comprising a plurality of battery cells; a housing including a base frame supporting the plurality of cell assemblies and a side frame surrounding the plurality of cell assemblies; and a first endothermic structure connected to the base frame so as to be overlapping vertically with the plurality of cell assemblies and including a phase change material.
