Abstract
The examples of the present disclosure provide a communication method, an electronic device, and an apparatus, which are applied to a first device in a network, the first device being an electronic device supporting SRv6. The aforementioned method includes: obtaining an SRv6 locator of the first device; and sending a first LLDP packet to a second device, wherein the first LLDP packet includes the SRv6 locator of the first device, so that the second device generates a locator route reaching the first device based on the SRv6 locator of the first device. Applying the examples of the present disclosure enables SRv6 information advertisement via a simple routing protocol.
