Abstract

Method for quality inspection of a printed paperboard web (10), the method comprising: feeding (S2) a printed paperboard web (10) continuously in a machine direction (MD), providing (S3) a master image (01a) using a first device (23a), generating (S40) a color managed master image (01b) by performing color management of the master image (01a), capturing (S5) a test image (12a) of a subsection (12) of the paperboard web (10) using a second device (23b), determining (S6) the print quality of the paperboard web (10) by comparing the test image (12a) with the color managed master image (01b).
