Abstract

A control apparatus (200) for controlling a plurality of image capturing apparatus (100) includes captured image acquisition means (201) for acquiring captured images from the plurality of image capturing apparatuses; subject position acquisition means (201) for acquiring positional relationships for a plurality of subjects from the captured images acquired by the captured image acquisition means; allocation means (201) for allocating identification codes that are conferred in order to select the plurality of image capturing apparatuses such that an order of the image capturing apparatuses becomes the same order as the order in which the plurality of subjects are lined up based on the positional relationships acquired by the subject position acquisition means and the captured images; and selection means (201) for selecting one of the plurality of image capturing apparatuses based on the identification codes allocated by the allocation means.
