Abstract

This application discloses a cell fault processing method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: acquiring first fault information, the first fault information indicating that a first cell has a stalling fault for a first service; verifying, according to the first fault information, whether the first cell has the stalling fault for the first service in the case of camping on the first cell and being in a connected state; and sending a first measurement report to an access network device corresponding to the first cell after it is verified that the first cell has the stalling fault for the first service, a first signal measurement result of the first cell carried in the first measurement report being less than a current actual signal measurement result of the first cell. Based on the method, it is conducive to improving communication quality of a terminal.
