Abstract

The disclosure discloses a method for cell reselection, a method for cell selection, an apparatus, a device, and a medium, relating to the field of communications. The method includes the following. Cell reselection is performed among at least two cells. The at least two cells include a first-type cell, the first-type cell is configured to transmit a first common signal, and a transmission energy consumption of the first common signal is less than a transmission energy consumption of a second common signal transmitted by a second-type cell. When there are at least two cells including a first-type cell transmitting a first common signal, cell reselection is performed among the at least two cells. As such, cell reselection can be performed even when radio signal qualities of different cells are measured based on different common signals.
