Abstract

An access point device that performs wireless communication based on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 standards determines whether a frame of a predetermined type has been received from a station device connected to the access point device in a case of operating in an enhanced multi-link single radio (EMLSR) mode. In a case where the access point device determines that the frame of the predetermined type has been received, the access point device releases the EMLSR mode and performs data communication with the station device. Then, after the data communication has been performed, the access point device transitions its operation mode to the EMLSR mode.
