Abstract

The present disclosure is applicable to the technical field related to a display apparatus, and relates to, for example, a light emitting device, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display apparatus using the same. A light emitting device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include: a first conductivity type semiconductor layer; an active layer disposed on a first surface of the first conductivity type semiconductor layer; a second conductivity type semiconductor layer disposed on the active layer; a reflective layer disposed on a second surface of the first conductivity type semiconductor layer; and a light extraction layer disposed on the second conductivity type semiconductor layer, wherein the light extraction layer may include: a pillar structure including a plurality of unit pillars disposed on the second conductivity type semiconductor layer; and a first conductive layer locally disposed on the unit pillars.
