Abstract

System (2) for joining of at least one skirting board (4), and preferably two adjacent skirting boards (4, 4'), to a foot (6) of a piece of furniture or similar, wherein said system (2) comprises:- a first element (12) comprising a hooking portion (13), which is configured to removably hook the foot (6), and also comprising first fastening means (14) and first connecting means (15),- at least one second element (8, 8') which is configured to be mounted, preferably removably, on a respective skirting board (4, 4'), said at least one second element (8, 8') comprises second connecting means (82),- a connecting element (3) which comprises further fastening means (39) and which is configured and intended to be placed in contact with said skirting board (4) to cover and thus hide from view the thickness of the skirting board itself, preferably is configured and intended to be placed in contact with said skirting board (4) and also with a further adjacent skirting board (4') to cover and thus hide from view the thickness of both skirting boards,and wherein:- the first fastening means (14) of said first element (12) are configured to cooperate with the further fastening means (39) of said connecting element (3), to thus directly and removably fasten the connecting element (3) to the first element (12), and/or vice versa,- the first connecting means (15) of said first element (12) are configured to cooperate with the second connecting means (82) of each second element (8, 8') so as to connect the first element (12) to each second element (8, 8'), thus connecting the foot to the respective skirting board (4, 4') on which the corresponding second element (8, 8') is installed.
