Abstract

A fixation plate for securing bone fragments includes a first portion extending along a first longitudinal axis, a second portion extending from an end of the first portion along a second longitudinal axis such that the second longitudinal axis is at an angle of eighty to one hundred forty degrees relative to the first longitudinal axis, and first and second holes having respective first and second central hole axes that are substantially transverse to each other, wherein the first hole is disposed at a junction between the first and second portions, and the second hole is disposed at an end of the second portion opposite from the junction.
