Abstract

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for performing maintenance operations within a gas turbine engine. In some embodiments, a tool (100) performing maintenance operations within a gas turbine engine includes a link assembly (104); an elongated enclosure (102) having a cavity (108) and an enclosure line guide (114); a line assembly (106) inserted through the enclosure line guide (114) and is selectively coupled to the tip link (130) of the link assembly (104); and an actuator apparatus (500) coupled to the link (138) assembly (104) and configured to move the link assembly (104) through the cavity (108) and out of the distal end (148) of the elongated enclosure (102) from a retracted state to an extended state.
