Abstract
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing a secondary battery, and more particularly, to an apparatus for manufacturing a secondary battery, in which, in a post-processing process of a pouch-type secondary battery, main sealing is enabled in a state, in which the secondary battery stands vertically, to eliminate processes such as pre-sealing and pre-cutting, thereby reducing an manufacturing equipment layout and reducing a cost of a pouch through reduction of a pouch gas pocket part.
