Additive manufacturing system for producing an ophthalmic lens configured for:- depositing at least one layer of a first material on a substrate, the at least one layer having at least one first cavity,- curing the at least one layer of the first material to a first level of the curing,- placing the electronic device in the at least one first cavity,- depositing at least one layer of a second material on the at least one layer of the first material,- curing the at least one layer of the second material to a second level of the curing higher,- depositing at least one layer of a third material on the at least one layer of the second material,- curing the at least one layer of the third material to a third level of the curing.
