Abstract

A container (1) for food products of fruit and vegetables type comprises a bottom wall (2), a plurality of side walls (3, 4, 5, 6) and a lid (7) movable at least between an open position (P0) and a closed position (P1) about a rotation axis (A). The lid (7) extends between a first edge (7A) coinciding with the rotation axis (A) and a second edge (7B) defining at least a flap (71; 72, 73) insertable in at least a slot (41; 42, 43) to maintain the lid (7) in the closed position (P1). The second edge (7B) comprises a stretch (T1) that develops between a first point and a second point in correspondence with the flap (71; 72, 73) and that defines a distance function which is strictly monotonic.
