Abstract
The present document is directed to a method for preventing discoloration of a hydrogenated furanic oxidation product comprising furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA), The method comprises adding an antioxidant to a furanic oxidation product comprising FDCA. The antioxidant is added before and/or after hydrogenation of the furanic oxidation product comprising FDCA.
