Abstract

The invention relates to a gypsum board (10) comprising a first cover sheet (11), a second cover sheet (12) and a body (13) arranged in between, the body (13) comprising:- at least three longitudinal dense areas (141, 142, 143), made of a first gypsum-based material (14), two of which being arranged along each of the two longitudinal edges of the gypsum board, and- at least two longitudinal low density areas (151, 152), made of a second gypsum-based material (15), each longitudinal low density areas being arranged between two longitudinal dense areas,wherein the first gypsum-based material (14) has a density greater than the density of the second gypsum-based material (15).The invention also relates to a partition wall comprising a gypsum board according to the invention and to a method for manufacturing a gypsum board according to the invention.
