Abstract
Assembly for an internal combustion engine (10) comprising a chamber component (2), preferably a cylinder liner (3) or a crank case (4), a cylinder head (5), and at least one head gasket (6) for sealing a combustion chamber (7) against the environment, wherein the at least one head gasket (6) comprises a cavity (8), which cavity (8) is closed at least towards the combustion chamber (7).
