Abstract

Lighting device (100) and automotive lighting comprising: a plurality of lighting elements (12), wherein a first group of lighting elements (12A) is arranged along a first direction (x) and a second group of lighting elements (12B) is arranged along the first direction (x) and arranged next to the first group of lighting elements (12A) along a second direction (y) perpendicular to the first direction (x), a single lens (14) in a distance from the first group of lighting elements (12A) and/or the second group of lighting elements (12B) to collimate light from the first group of lighting elements (12A) and the second group of lighting elements (12B), a cylindrically shaped optical element (10) extending along the first direction (x) placed between the plurality of lighting elements (12) and the lens (14), wherein the optical element (10) has a non-uniform shape.
