Abstract

A cabinet or a home appliance having the same comprising: a cabinet body having a storage space; a door that opens and closes the storage space; a hinge device configured to allow the door to rotate relative to the cabinet; and a height adjusting device configured to adjust a height of the door. The hinge device includes a hinge body installed at the cabinet, a pin unit provided at the hinge body, a guide member provided at the door and forming a pin slot to receive the pin unit. The height adjusting device include a first member provided inside the door and connected to the guide member, a second member movable relative to the first member, a third member movable relative to the second member and movable up and down by an external operating force. When the third member moves in a first direction, the second member moves upward and the height of the door is increased, when the third member moves in a second direction, the second member moves downward and the height of the door is decreased.
