Abstract

A biometric registration system receives personal information on a user, and control a first acquisition device to acquire first biometric data on the user; extracts a first feature amount from the first biometric data; registers pre-registration data in which the personal information and the first feature amount are associated with each other; controls, in a case where a registration procedure using a registration device is started, a second acquisition device to acquire second biometric data and third biometric data; extracts a second feature amount and a third feature amount from the second biometric data and the third biometric data; compares the first feature amount and the second feature amount to each other; and registers registration data in which the personal information included in the pre-registration data corresponding to the first feature amount that matches the second feature amount and the third feature amount are associated with each other.
