Abstract

The invention concerns a computer-implemented method for optimizing an examination, wherein the method comprises the steps of instructing the patient by displaying instructions via a user interface for simulating the examination; receiving image data comprising information about at least one portion of the patient via an optical sensor; analyzing, by a processor, the image data from the patient when the patient has been instructed; determining visible patient properties based on the analyzed image data; providing the visible patient properties to an external examination unit; and adapting a workflow of the examination based on the determined visible patient properties. The invention further concerns a system for optimizing an examination.
