Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a battery assembly, and more specifically, to a battery assembly including secondary batteries that can be charged and discharged. A battery assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a plurality of secondary batteries; and a housing accommodating the plurality of secondary batteries, wherein the secondary battery may include an electrode assembly; an exterior material having a receiving portion accommodating the electrode assembly and an exterior material opening that allows an internal space of the receiving portion to communicate with the outside; and a cover member covering the exterior material opening, wherein some of the exterior material may overlap each other to form an exterior material overlapping portion, and the exterior material overlapping portion may be in close contact with the receiving portion and the housing therebetween or in close contact with the receiving portion and a neighboring secondary battery therebetween.
