Abstract
A battery cell according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include an electrode assembly in which a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween are wound around a winding axis; a can configured to accommodate the electrode assembly through an opened end formed on one side; a lid covering the opened end and having an injection port; a sealing member that has a sealing portion configured to be inserted into at least a part of the injection port and a welded portion configured to cover the injection port on an upper side of the lid and to be mutually welded to the lid, and is configured to seal the injection port; and a gasket surrounding at least a part of the sealing member.
