Abstract

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided a pyrofuse ignition apparatus (100) including a pyroswitch (88) including a high side (87) to which an operating voltage is applied, a low side (89) to which a ground is connected, and an internal resistance (Rp) between the high side (87) and the low side (89), a low side switch (110) that outputs an ignition start signal (112) to the low side of the pyroswitch, a constant current supplier (120) that is connected to the low side of the pyroswitch and supplies a constant current to the internal resistance of the pyroswitch (Rp), a high side switch (130) configured to turn off an operating voltage applied to the high side of the pyroswitch when diagnosing the pyroswitch (88), and a resistance monitoring unit (140) configured to monitor a voltage difference across the internal resistance of the pyroswitch (Rp).
