Abstract

A rotating electrical machine includes: a housing including a fixing portion (60) including a threaded hole (61) and a fixing-portion-side refrigerant passage (62); and a stator (1) fixed to the fixing portion (60) and including a stator core (100) in which a bolt insertion hole (14, 24, 34) is formed, and a bolt (50) configured to fix a contact portion (37) including an opening of the bolt insertion hole (14, 24, 34) in surface contact with the fixing portion (60) by being inserted into the bolt insertion hole (14, 24, 34) to insert its distal end into the threaded hole (61), wherein a supply port corresponding to an opening of the fixing-portion-side refrigerant passage (62) is formed in the contact portion (37) within a distribution range of a surface pressure, and a stator-side refrigerant passage (36) axially extending from the supply port is formed in the stator core (100).
